This dish is often served in Izakayas (similar to pubs) across Japan. It is simple and very cheap to make. If you are in hurry, feel free to buy ready made pizza bases, but the beauty of the dish is its inconsistent shape which shows it’s homemade! You can add prawns and nori (dry sea weed) to turn it into a sea food style dish.
Ingredients (for two small pizzas)
200g bread & pizza flour
12g olive oil
1 bunch (4/5) Shallots
2 rashers bacon
1 tsp soy sauce
(if you can find it) Japanese chilli powder
Then put in a pre-oven at 230 deg cel for 15 minutes.
